Who We Are
Pathtogrowth Entrepreneurship Centre is an NGO established in 2018 to address the challenges
facing mostly informal Micro, Small And Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria as they grow
their businesses by providing access to finance, educational and business support services to
MSMEs.
Small and Growing businesses are the main drivers of economic growth, job creation and
eradication of poverty in Nigeria. Unfortunately, over 65% of MSMEs in Nigeria operate in the
informal economy and thus unable to achieve scale or to contribute effectively to National
growth.
PathtoGrowth therefore creates targeted support for local MSMEs through unique initiatives
that address systemic challenges and strengthen ecosystems for entrepreneurial growth
especially in the Southeast of Nigeria, where unmet needs are quite significant.
